The Fine Arts Society should be the best and leading cultural
and community service institution in Mumbai in every
respect.
Membership of the Fine Arts Society should be considered most
prestigious and sought after.
Our
Mission
To promote and encourage cultural activities and foster and
develop music, dance and other fine arts.
To establish and conduct academies, colleges, schools and
classes for spread of education and awareness of the performing fine
arts.
To advance the cause of classical music and the fine arts by
organising, conducting, encouraging, assisting and participating in
concerts, dramas, dances, festivals, conferences and
exhibitions.
To establish and run health care facilities for providing
diagnostic / medical and health care services to the community and
providing research in medical science.
Achievements
The Society is proud of what it has achieved. Started in 1962
by a small number of social minded ardent music lovers, the Society
today ranks amongst the foremost Cultural and Educational
Organisations in the country. The Society owes a deep debt of
gratitude to every one who helped in creating such a fine
organisation and putting up a superb structure. The Society's
founding fathers, some of whom are still active in the affairs of
the Society, symbolize the pioneering spirit of the yesteryears
which refused to accept defeat and overcame all
obstacles.
The Society has dedicated itself to consolidate and improve
upon its achievements. All out efforts are constantly made to
rejuvenate its assets - human as also facilities, improve
efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality and give better and better
satisfaction to the Society's members and the host of people and
organisations which patronize its' facilities.
In short, the Society is determined not to rest on its
laurels but to strive harder than ever before to meet the challenges
ahead and scale new heights in the spirit of its motto
